ADAPTATION OF THE SIGNAL PROCESSING SYSTEMS IN CLUTTER

Abstract

In the article deals with the traditional system of quasioptimal "rejector filter – multi-channel filter" is considered. This type of system allows the flexibility to take into account the nature of the noise, which is a mixture of the additive correlated and non-correlated components corresponding to the clutter and noise-term proper receiver. In strongly correlated interference in the assumption of the absence of self-noise, the system is converted to a rejector filter, and if there is only self-noise - the multi-channel coherent drive. In the intermediate case it is of interest to the task of optimizing the order rejector filter. Adaptation of a given order non-recursive rejector filter is an empirical determination of the weight vector, the optimal allocation based on their performance against the background of the incoming clutter interference. When Gaussian input data statistics such criterion is the factor of improving the signal / clutter ratio. These adaptation algorithms and corresponding adaptive rejector filters allow you to optimize rejection clutter under a priori uncertainty of the correlation characteristics using the estimated values of correlation coefficients. Adaptation of a multi-channel filter also involves the use of estimates of unknown parameters for the classification of clutter environment by identifying them in a priori space clutter characteristics with after-blowing selection of precalculated optimal weight vectors. The proposed procedure for the adaptation of the coherent signal processing systems based on a combination of rejector and multi-channel filters results in a priori uncertainty for adaptive restructuring order and filter weight and allows you to get closer to efficiency of the optimal system. The likelihood function describes which establishes the dependence of output samples automatic compensator phase Doppler clutter from the correlation matrix clutter. The estimation algorithm of clutter interperiod correlation coefficients on output auto-compensator of clutter Doppler phase has been synthesized using maximum likelihood method. The designing of quasi-optimum (simplified) estimation algorithm is executed and the block diagram appropriate to him device are presented on the basis of the given algorithm. Synthesized estimation algorithm interperiod correlation coefficients of clutter produces asymptotically efficient and co-sufficiency maximum likelihood estimates used for adaptation rejector and multi-channel filters.
