СHAIR EKAO: 75 YEARS TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The work is dedicated to the history of the base, the formation and development of one of the leading structural units of NRU «MPEI» - Department of Electrical complexes autonomous objects and electric vehicles, the first among the civilian universities in the country, which started training in aviation and tractor electrical equipment. It presents detailed information on the teaching staff of the department, taught at different times of educational disciplines, training and laboratory facilities. Particular attention is paid to the scientific activities of the department staff at different stages of its development: the basic directions of activity of research groups in the areas of research and development of electromechanical and electronic transformers for special and general industrial use, secondary power supplies, power spacecraft, highspeed elektroturbomashin. Addresses issues devoted to contemporary problems of activity of the department, as classroom, teaching and laboratory and scientific research bases, the results of its activities in the implementation of development programs NRU MPEI».
